The view from my window. While most of you are showing off your pretty spring flowers and talking about eating outside on your porches, this is my lot in life. Darkness. Lack of sun. Cold, drenching rain. Prediction of snow. Mud. Puddles. Heavy coats.
But doesn't April showers bring May flowers?
Linking my dark mood to a new weekly photo challenge. Ignore me and go see some happy photos.
Tricia from A Rosy Note is hosting.
Now, go play in your nice and dry flower beds.
**Edited** As of 4:00 this afternoon, our chance of rain turned into over 5 inches of snow! Grrr! And it is still snowing! Have a great weekend everyone!
No nice dry, sunny days here. Nothing but cold and wet and miserable rain! I have hope for the weekend though, they say sun is on the way. We'll see. I won't believe it until I see it! Have a terrific weekend!
ReplyDeleteHmmm...that looks a lot like the view I see outside my window :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing your pretty picture at Photo Feature Friday!

It's still a beautiful shot! I love the silhouette of the trees. Spring will be here soon for you too. Hang in there!
ReplyDeleteHey Connie! Hopefully you didn't get the foot of snow we got up here in Cherry County! Hard on baby calves! But the sun is out now and green grass is peeking through, and the pond is full of ducks, so I'm hoping it is the last we will see of this white stuff for a few months!
ReplyDeleteNice photo. I'm in Ohio and spent last month staring at the Southern bloggers gardens. We finally got a little spring here, but it's later than normal. Hope it clears up for you soon.
ReplyDeleteBUMMER...it's windy and cold here in MN...looks like your snow is heading our way??? Thanks for "sharing" ;) Laurel

I am about in the same boat as you. Cold, rainy and windy here in Niagara Falls. The garden is just starting to welcome Spring. If I had a photo today, it would look just like yours.
ReplyDeleteJust read your edit - snow??!! Poor you.
ReplyDeleteSpring is definitely in the UK, t-shirt weather today in the garden. I'm sending some sunshine to you now...................

Connie - snow on April the 15th?!? And I've been grumbling to myself that our temps will be in the 90s this week. Shame on me! Hope y'all warm up and see signs of the real Spring soon.
ReplyDeletePaula
Oh my friend...we had snow last Thursday if that makes you feel better. Sending you some of our sunshine today....it is just lovely outside!
ReplyDeleteYour image is lovely though. xoxoxo
Connie,
ReplyDeleteThat is unreal. Just a beautiful picture, Connie. How did you learn how to do that???
We had snow in Minneapolis this week. So unreal. Today it was sunny and about forty. I wasn't feeling so good but the sun was coming through the stained glass windows in our bedroom and it was sooo pretty!!!
Hugs,
Suz
Wow Connie! That has got to be tough to deal with! It makes me feel bad for all my bloggy friends that aren't enjoying the beauty of spring right now. I am praying that Spring arrives...really soon for each of you!
ReplyDeleteHave a joyful week,
Becky
Ooooh, snow. We are just started to get the green going. Stay warm!
ReplyDeleteI have been playing in my nice dry flowerbed. That's why nothing gets done...my wips? Now I want to color eggs, but it's way to early.
