14 lost days . . .

14 days of NOT doing anything, creating anything, cleaning anything (well, that's okay) and staying inside and at home.  14 lost days that I will never get back.  You see, my little cold from Minnesota turned into bronchitis, then a touch of pnemonia accompianied with absolutely NO energy at all.  Since I wasn't sleeping at night (cough, cough, hack, hack), I slept during the day.  Beautiful, sunshiny days that I couldn't enjoy, couldn't work at what needed to be done.  But don't feel sorry for me.  I think I'm now on the mend and plan on getting things done with a vengeance!  Have missed visiting you all and seeing what the healthy people have been doing!

I'll leave you with photos of my Lainey girl.

I have a new supply of vitamins, more prescriptions than one person should have and finally some ambition.  I'm determined to stay well this winter and I'll never bother you again with my problems!

Oh happy day!  I'm back to the land of the living . . .

Oh, Connie. I am so sorry. I have only had pneumonia once and that is just how I felt...totally dragged out for what seemed like way to long. I thought of you when I did the wedding pictures in Croatia. I was somewhat disappointed with what we got but...hey...it was nighttime in an old church! I love that you tear up...me, too. In fact, I was kind of a crying fool! Such a wonderful time!!!

Please take care of yourself. Take it easy and continue to rest. Love that darling Lainey and those pictures...oh, my!!!!

Oh my goodness gracious! Those photos of your newest, dearest grandbaby are beyond the moon....Did you take these, Connie? I'm sort of thinking you did because of the new camera, your passion for scales,...loud clapping coming from me! But I am so sorry to hear of your crud. Yuck. Yuck. Xo, Sue

absolutely wonderful photos of your granddaughter. My daughter has two daughters and she is a photographer. I will have to show her these photographs. Yes, I know what you mean about the lost days, but look at it as a kind of renewal, and then you be so raring to go again. I hate that coughing at night thing, that is so frustrating.

Connie I came by to catch up and say hello. I really hated to read about your 14days lost. I do know what you mean when I had my accident there for 4 months just laying in bed. Months and days you can not get back.
Glad you are better and can post.
Your baby pictures are just too adorable. How darling and precious is she.
I also was sorry to read about poor Biscuit.
Just like you I was not going to get attached again but my landlady left her blue healer out here on the ranch for me to take care of and of course I have fallen in love again. But she does the same thing when I am on the tractor. Scares me to death.
Loved catching up with you

So glad you are feeling better! The picture of Lainey in the cradle is just beautiful - you need to print that on some fine muslin and embellish it with some embroidery - she is just gorgeous! Have a healthy and productive week:)

Hi, Connie. So glad you are on the mend. Appreciate your follow and following you right back. I love it here. Lainey is adorable and poor Biscuit. I have a "frankendog" at the moment that just had surgery herself for some lumps and bumps to be removed. Her "costume" is perfect for Halloween. Keep getting better so you can be creative again. I'm looking forward to getting to know you!
