Kinda lovin it . . .

I love the idea of Valentines Day.  I really do.  But I don't do much decorating to celebrate the day.  Truthfully, I still haven't replaced the Christmas decorations with my everyday items (and yes, I am ashamed to admit this!).  This is the time of year that I am tired of the old and want everything new!  Unfortunately, all the emails I get saying I won the UK lottery are not true so THAT won't be happening!  Would like to take my living room in a different direction and it is easier to picture the way I want it to look without the distractions of what it is now.  Or at least that is what I tell myself.

But I did clip some vintage (they were my husband's and he would hate being considered vintage) valentines on a chip clip stand I recently aquired.

And I also found an interesting old scale.  I have old scales above my kitchen cabinets but I haven't climbed a chair to place this one yet.

I finished my OWOH giveaway shadowbox and will give you peeks of it soon.  It is NOT TOO LATE to enter if you would like.  I would love to get to know you!

Thinking of what to do for my honey on the big V day . . .

Connie,
I am glad to see that you entered my giveaway & left me a comment, because it brought me to your blog. And wow, you have some really cool things to see. First of all the garlands you made when you were freezing are so darn cute, I am copying those tonight! Also, I entered your giveaway. Wonderful shadowbox! I am saving you to favorites. BTW, are you anywhere near Wakefield? Ever heard of it? My family is from there. Lisa
