Searching for pink . . .

. . . anything that is pink.  Now don't all of you shabby pink froo-froo gals hate me but I don't have alot of pink in my house.  I love it - I just don't have much of it.  I drool over all of your pink blogs!  I wouldn't call myself a girly-girl.  I really don't know what kind of girl I am but lace, ruffles and bows just don't fit my style.  Who am I kidding?  I don't think I even HAVE a style!

And wouldn't you know that A Rosy Note's challenge this Photo Feature Friday was to photograph something pink.  The following photos are my contributions.   The only pinks I have!

I thought that if I used a pink texture, I could fake it.  Kim Klassen's 'dusty rose', 'pink sweet treat' and 'golden' were used to class up some whites (MY color of choice).

This is more me.  A little grungy using a couple of dark layers of 'golden'.

And even darker using Kim's 'empty page'.

Ya know, the more I look at these I'm realizing that I really love these soft pinks.  I think I'll leave them out to inspire me to find more.  Pink lovers beware!  There may just be another member joining your group!

Now, go see what other pink goodness is out there!

Oh pretty pictures! I love your use of textures too...that was a good idea using those pink-toned ones. Thanks for sharing your beautiful post at Photo Feature Friday!

Really pretty...I don't have much for pink at my house either...except if your count my "pink-licious" little girl, she can't get enough of it :) Have a great weekend! Laurel

Too funny, like you I am sometimes pressed to find a certain color among my lovelies if its not my usual palette... and I do find that I gravitate to certain colors more, not even consciously, and so my Home tends to be predominantly in those hues.

I think you did a terrific job and what a novel idea to use for Photo Feature Friday... changing the color of what you've photographed through photo editing techniques... that's quite inspiring.

Gorgeous photos, Connie. I'm a pink lover - just a splash here and there but I'm trying to work up the courage to be more bold! I think that your pinks are perfect. The clock face is wonderful, just love those.

Lovely photos! Like you I love pink and drool all over the gorgous 'pink' blogs that abound but I don't actually have a lot of pink stuff. I so love your sugar and creamer set (another small collection I have)they are so pretty. I can see I am going to be on the lookout for more pink stuff now! Have a wonderful weekend :)

I sure wish that you could come to my house and teach me how to take pictures ;-) You take such beautiful ones. I am just in awe.

I don't have many pinks either. But the pink glass is beautiful. The textures look great with your shots. I don't think I have the last one you used of Kim's. Empty page is a pretty one.

I like your combination of objects in the photo. I don't have a ton of pink items either, so I had to go outside to find my pink!
